Social

Booking/ Cancellation Policy

At Krystal’s Tasty Treats, each order is custom-made, requiring time, preparation, and special materials. To protect both the customer and the business, the following cancellation and refund terms apply:


Booking and Ordering


  • All orders must be placed at least 7–14 days in advance, depending on the size and complexity of the order.
     
  • Rush orders (less than 7 days’ notice) may be accepted based on availability and will include a rush fee.
     
  • Your order is not confirmed until a deposit has been paid.


Customer Cancellations

  • All deposits are non-refundable under any circumstance.
  • Cancellations made 17 days or more before the event date may receive a partial refund of any amount paid beyond the deposit.
  • Cancellations made within 17 days of the event are not eligible for any refund, as supplies have already been purchased and production time has been reserved.


Same-Day / Last-Minute Cancellations

Cancellations made within 72 hours of pickup or delivery are non-refundable.


Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only if:

  • The product quality is proven to be unsatisfactory through clear photo/video evidence,
  • The issue was reported within the complaint window

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Change of mind or changes in event plans
  • Customer dislike of a flavor or design they approved
  • Damages occurring after pickup or delivery
  • Improper storage, weather conditions, or mishandling
  • Differences caused by creative interpretation or custom design variations

All approved refunds may take 5–7 business days to process.


Rescheduling

Customers may request to reschedule their order once, if notice is given 14 business days in advance of the event date (when applicable).

Rescheduling with less notice may result in:

  • A rescheduling fee
  • Or denial of the request if the date is unavailable

Event changes must be approved and confirmed in writing.


Deposits

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all orders.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking.
     
  • Orders under $50 must be paid in full at the time of booking.
     
  • Deposits go toward your final balance and guarantee your date and ingredients.


• No date is held without a deposit.

• Deposits are non-transferable and may not be applied to another date, person, or event.


2. Final Payment

• Final payment is due no later than 7 days before pickup/delivery, unless otherwise stated.

• Orders not paid in full by the deadline may be canceled without refund of the deposit.

• Production will not begin until final payment has been received


3. Accepted Payment Methods


Krystal’s Tasty Treats currently accepts:

• Cash App

• Zelle

• Apple Pay

• Debit/Credit card (if applicable)


No checks are accepted.


4. Late Payments

• Payments not received by the stated deadline may incur a late fee.

• If payment is not made by the final cutoff, the order may be canceled and no refund of the deposit will be issued.


5. Failed or Reversed Payments


If a payment is disputed, reversed, or fails:

• The order will be immediately canceled

• The customer will be responsible for any fees associated with the failed or reversed payment

• No new orders will be accepted until the balance is cleared


6. Day-of Payment Policy

• No day-of payments are accepted for custom orders.

• All balances must be cleared before the order date to avoid cancellation


All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, as they secure your date, block out production time, and cover initial supplies.


Business Cancellations

If Krystal’s Tasty Treats must cancel due to extreme circumstances (illness, emergency, equipment failure, or situations beyond our control), the customer will be offered:

  • A partial refund ( at management discretion) 
  • A credit toward a future date, OR
  • Referral to another trusted vendor (if available)

This will be handled fairly and communicated promptly.

No Call / No Show

If the customer fails to notify Krystal’s Tasty Treats at least 2 hours prior to pickup or delivery, the order will be considered abandoned.

No refunds or credits will be issued.

Custom Design & Non-Duplication Policy

At Krystal’s Tasty Treats, all of our treats and decorative elements are custom-designed to reflect your theme, vision, and personal style. While we welcome inspiration photos to help us understand the direction you’d like to go, we do not duplicate another artist’s work.

We use all reference images strictly as inspiration, allowing us to create a one-of-a-kind design that maintains the overall look, colors, and style you love while still upholding our own creative standards and artistic integrity.


By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your design will be unique to Krystal’s Tasty Treats.
  • Inspiration photos will not be replicated exactly.
  • Creative adjustments may be made to ensure quality, originality, and feasibility. ( to the discretion of the baker)


Our goal is to create something beautiful, high-quality, and uniquely crafted just for you.

Complaint & Resolution Policy

At Krystal’s Tasty Treats, we take pride in delivering high-quality, custom desserts and exceptional customer service. If you have any concerns regarding your order, we kindly ask that you follow the steps below so we can address the matter promptly and fairly.

1. Reporting a Concern

All concerns or complaints must be reported:

  • Within 24 hours of receiving your order for perishable items
  • Within 48 hours for non-perishable or decorative items

Complaints must be submitted in writing via email, text message, or through our official website messages.

2. Required Information

To properly review your concern, please include:

  • Your full name
  • Date of the order or event
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos or videos clearly showing the concern
  • Any relevant documentation (such as your original invoices or order confirmation, copy and paste documents are not valid proof)

3. Review Process

Once your complaint is received:

  • Krystal’s Tasty Treats will review the information within 2–3 business days.
  • We may request additional details or clarification if needed.
  • A resolution will be provided after the full review.

4. Possible Resolutions

Depending on the nature of the issue, resolutions may include:

  • Partial refund ( at the discretion of management) 
  • Full refund (in verified and severe cases) ( at the discretion of management)
  • Replacement item (for qualifying items and based on availability)
  • A credit toward a future order

Refunds are NOT guaranteed and will only be issued after reviewing all evidence and determining that the quality or service fell below our standards.

5. Limitations

Refunds or replacements will NOT be granted if:

  • The product has been consumed beyond one serving used for tasting
  • The product was not stored properly after pickup or delivery
  • Customer preference differs from the item ordered
  • The customer failed to provide accurate order information
  • Complaints are made after the stated reporting window (24-48 hours depending on item)
  • The design difference is based on creative interpretation, as all items are custom-made and not duplicated from inspiration photos

6. Respectful Communication

We are committed to maintaining a kind, respectful, and professional environment. Abusive language, threats, harassment, or disrespectful communication will result in refusal of service and immediate termination of the complaint process.

Rush Order Policy

Rush orders are accepted based on availability and production capacity. A rush fee of $35 will apply to any order placed within the following timelines:

  • 72 hours or less before the pickup or delivery date for standard orders
  • 5 days or less before the event for custom cakes or complex designs

Rush orders:

  • Are subject to limited design options
  • Must be paid in full at the time of booking
  • Cannot be cancelled, refunded, or changed once confirmed

Krystal’s Tasty Treats reserves the right to decline rush orders during high-volume periods, holidays, or previously fully booked dates.

Weather and Emergency Policy

Krystal’s Tasty Treats will always do our best to meet agreed-upon timelines, but certain circumstances may be outside of our control.


Weather Conditions

Severe weather such as storms, hurricanes, flooding, or extreme heat may impact delivery, pickup timing, or product stability.

We will communicate promptly if weather conditions require:

  • An adjusted pickup time
  • Delivery rescheduling
  • Modifications to the original plan

We are not responsible for melting, damage, or instability caused by outdoor setups, heat exposure, or failure to store items properly.


Personal or Business Emergencies

In rare and unavoidable situations such as:

  • Illness
  • Injury
  • Power outages
  • Equipment failure
  • Family emergencies

Krystal’s Tasty Treats may need to modify or cancel an order. If this occurs:

  • You will receive immediate communication
  • A replacement, credit, or partial refund will be provided based on the situation
  • We will always act in good faith to resolve the issue fairly

Storage and Handling Policy

At Krystal’s Tasty Treats, all items are carefully crafted and inspected before pickup or delivery. Once an order leaves our possession, the customer assumes full responsibility for proper storage and handling.

To maintain quality and safety:

  • Cakes and perishable items must be refrigerated until serving.
  • Treats containing chocolate, cream fillings, fruit, or whipped toppings must be kept in a cool environment to avoid melting or spoilage.
  • Avoid leaving items in warm vehicles, direct sunlight, or near heat sources.
  • Outdoor events require the customer to ensure shade, stable tables, and appropriate temperature control.

Krystal’s Tasty Treats is not liable for any damage, melting, spoilage, or changes in appearance caused by improper storage or handling after pickup or delivery

Allergy Disclaimer

All products from Krystal’s Tasty Treats are prepared in a kitchen that may come into contact with common allergens, including but not limited to:

  • Eggs
  • Dairy
  • Wheat/Gluten
  • Soy
  • Peanuts
  • Tree nuts

We do our best to avoid cross-contact when notified in advance; however, we cannot guarantee that any product is allergen-free.

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges:

  • It is their responsibility to inform all guests of potential allergens.
  • Krystal’s Tasty Treats is not responsible for allergic reactions or medical issues resulting from consumption of our products
